Community Service Program

Participating in a community service project is a great way to help others and it makes you feel good about yourself.

The Capital Area Humane Society relies on the generosity of individuals and groups in our community to help us continue to serve the animals in our care.

There are many great ways to help the animals, from organizing a donation drive, to making cats treats, to making cat beds, to sponsoring a specific animal. And it doesn't stop there. If you are over 12 years of age, you can be a junior volunteer who works at the shelter (as long as your parent, guardian or another adult volunteer accompanies you during your visits).
